The inaugural Spectrum Seminar at the Bay View Music Festival will provide all of that and much more! Located in one of North America’s most spectacular settings, the Spectrum Seminar provides unparalleled opportunities to learn, perform, and collaborate while soaking in the sandy beaches and historical beauty of Northern Michigan.
This exciting collaboration pairs the groundbreaking Spectrum Brass with the oldest music festival in the United States. The Bay View Music Festival is part of a true Chautauqua and features a variety of professional and student performances throughout the summer in addition to classes, lessons, coachings, and much more.
The Spectrum Seminar is in session from June 16 – August 11, 2013. Applications are being accepted for individuals and preformed groups for the full eight-week session, and also two four-week sessions from June 16 – July 14 and July 15 – August 11. There is only room for two brass quintets for each session, so make a great recording of yourself or your quintet, and apply today!
